This is a study companion for Cambridge IELTS 15, Test 2, Listening. Use it with your own copy of the book and its audio: do the test first, then use this page to see what each section was about, learn the vocabulary, and understand every answer and what you should have listened for.

Golden rule of Listening: the recording plays only once and the answers come in order. Before each part, read the questions and predict the type of word needed (name, number, place). Watch for distractors — the speaker often mentions a wrong option first.

Part 1: Festival Information
Situation: a phone call giving information about the events, workshops and outdoor activities at a local festival. Question types: table completion (Q1–4) and note completion (Q5–10), ONE WORD ONLY. পরিস্থিতি: একটি স্থানীয় উৎসবের অনুষ্ঠান, কর্মশালা ও বহিরঙ্গন কার্যক্রম নিয়ে ফোন-তথ্য। ধরন: টেবিল ও নোট পূরণ, শুধু একটি শব্দ।
