This is a study companion for Cambridge IELTS 19, Test 3, Listening. Use it with your own copy of the book and its audio: do the test first, then use this page to see what each section was about, learn the vocabulary, and understand every answer.

You need the book & audio. To respect copyright, this page does not reprint recordings, transcripts or questions — it gives overviews, vocabulary and answer explanations in our own words.

Part 1: Local Food Shops
Situation: Leon tells Shannon where to buy food in a new area — a fish market, an organic shop and a supermarket — and what to buy. Question types: note completion (Q1–6) and table completion (Q7–10). পরিস্থিতি: Leon নতুন এলাকায় Shannon-কে খাবার কেনার জায়গা ও কী কিনবে বলছেন। ধরন: নোট ও টেবিল পূরণ।
