Section 1: Renting a Flat
Situation: an everyday enquiry about renting accommodation — where the flat is (city centre), whether it has a garden, weekly/monthly costs (£250, £325, a £5 charge), what is included (water bills, telephone rental), a day, who acts as a reference (an employer), and how much deposit is needed (one month's rent). Question types: note / form completion (Q1–10). পরিস্থিতি: থাকার ব্যবস্থা ভাড়া নিয়ে দৈনন্দিন খোঁজ — ফ্ল্যাট কোথায় (city centre), garden আছে কি, খরচ (£250, £325, £5), কী অন্তর্ভুক্ত (water bills, telephone rental), একটি বার, রেফারেন্স (employer), ও deposit (এক মাসের ভাড়া)। নোট/ফর্ম পূরণ।

Section 2: A Doctors' Practice
Situation: a talk/enquiry about a medical practice — who registers (a daughter), what a "practice" is, how many doctors work there (about 6, about 4), why patients prefer it (better / more efficient), which groups it serves (elderly, unemployed people, pregnant women), common complaints (back problems), opening times (from 9 am) and a charge (£5). Question types: note completion and choosing from a list (Q11–20). পরিস্থিতি: একটি ডাক্তারি প্র্যাকটিস নিয়ে কথা — কে নিবন্ধন করে (মেয়ে), practice কী, কতজন ডাক্তার (~৬, ~৪), কেন পছন্দ (better/more efficient), কোন দল (elderly, unemployed, pregnant women), সাধারণ সমস্যা (back problems), সময় (৯টা থেকে), চার্জ (£5)। নোট পূরণ ও তালিকা থেকে বাছাই।

Situation: a student discusses a voluntary teaching placement abroad — a subject taught (Politics), a region (West Africa), the dates worked (1990 to 1992), the organisation/scheme, a rural co-operative, another subject (Geography), a school year (Form 5), feeling homesick, a favourite subject and useful applications. Question type: note / sentence completion (Q21–30). পরিস্থিতি: বিদেশে স্বেচ্ছাসেবী শিক্ষকতা নিয়ে আলোচনা — বিষয় (Politics), অঞ্চল (West Africa), সময় (1990-1992), সংস্থা/স্কিম, rural co-operative, আরেক বিষয় (Geography), Form 5, homesick, প্রিয় বিষয় ও প্রয়োগ। নোট/বাক্য পূরণ।

Situation: a lecture reviewing treatments for back pain — every question is multiple choice, comparing options such as osteoporosis, relaxation therapy, how the body responds to injury, treatments recommended for a maximum of two days, ones that worsen existing pain, and recommendations rated "strongly recommended", "recommended in certain circumstances" or "not recommended".
