Section 1: Booking a Restaurant
Situation: a phone call to arrange a group meal — the restaurant name (Rajdoot), nearby places (Park View Hotel, London Arms), a phone number (208657), a non-smoking area, a dish (lentil curry), a deposit (£50), choosing the menu, a date (4 November) and a newsletter. Section 3: Designing a Product (a Discussion)
Situation: students discuss the design of a product — a name (Anne Rea), an age (both 16), the product itself (a "Blind Puzzle"), its measurements (given in order: 20 cm, 50 cm, 2.5 cm), three selling points (safe for children, educational and a good/inexpensive price), the electrics, the plastic pieces, and a deadline (1 July).
