Section 1: Trips for New Students
Situation: an enquiry about outings organised for students — the kind of trips on offer (shopping, guided tours), how a group is put together, a notice board and a date, and named places to visit such as the Tower of London, Bristol and the American Museum, ending with a contact name. Question types: note / form completion (Q1–10). পরিস্থিতি: শিক্ষার্থীদের ভ্রমণ নিয়ে খোঁজ — ভ্রমণের ধরন (shopping, guided tours), দল গঠন, notice board ও তারিখ, এবং Tower of London, Bristol, American Museum-এর মতো স্থান, শেষে একটি নাম। নোট/ফর্ম পূরণ।

Section 2: A Heritage Craft Village
Situation: a talk introducing a heritage/craft village, including the fuels once used (coal, firewood), local craftsmen, a distance in metres and a place name, then a map/plan-labelling task naming the Ticket Office, Gift Shop, Workshop, Showroom, Café and some cottages. Situation: two or three students discuss their course and study choices. The task is matching — you connect people, options or opinions to a list of letters (A–G). Listen for who says what, agreements and changes of mind. Section 4: Planting Trees in Cities
Situation: a lecture on why trees are planted in cities and the special conditions they face — the urban environment, windy and humid air, the need for shady spots, dangerous sites, how leaves and the ground behave, how trees can reduce or filter pollution, and issues of low light and limited space.
