Section 1: An Accommodation Enquiry
Situation: a caller enquires about renting accommodation and gives details for a form — how long they want it (1½ years), a surname to spell (Forest/Forrest), the type (Academic), a day (Thursday), some choices, and payment details including a deposit, a monthly arrangement and a contact telephone number. Question types: form completion and multiple choice (Q1–10). পরিস্থিতি: কেউ থাকার ব্যবস্থা নিয়ে খোঁজ করে ও ফর্মের তথ্য দেয় — কতদিন (১½ বছর), বানানের নাম (Forest/Forrest), ধরন (Academic), দিন (Thursday), কিছু পছন্দ, এবং পরিশোধ: deposit, monthly, telephone। ফর্ম পূরণ ও MCQ।

Section 2: An Arts / Theatre Event
Situation: a talk giving information about arts events and venues — choices among options (Q11–14), then details such as lighting, whether events are for adults, a performance at the Studio Theatre, one for the whole family, one in the City Gardens (outdoors), and one for young children. Section 3: A Student Discussion
Situation: students discuss their studies and a project. All ten questions are multiple choice, so listen for agreement, disagreement and the exact detail that matches an option — distractors are common when speakers change their minds. Section 4: A Survey of Student Housing
Situation: a lecture reporting a survey of student accommodation — a questionnaire was sent to about 2,000 students studying Education; results cover halls of residence, problems such as traffic and parking, the value of nearby lecture rooms and good facilities, and priorities students chose from a list.
