Section 1: Children's Activities Centre
Situation: an everyday conversation about a children's activities/discovery centre — its location near the river Tamer, how to get in (a green button), features such as a library and an educational department, and craft activities that reuse everyday items (old clothes, bottle tops, silver paper) plus an exhibit called "Undersea Worlds". Section 2: Train Information
Situation: a monologue giving train information — which stations local and national services leave from, how often trains run, what a first-class ticket includes, ticket types (Advance, reservations) and a departure time. Section 4: The History of Moving Pictures
Situation: a single-speaker lecture on the early history of moving pictures — famous photographs of a running horse, Edison and his Scottish assistant, the limits of the first system, rival systems in Europe, an 1895 breakthrough, and inventions such as the "Latham Loop". You answer multiple-choice questions, then complete sentences about early films.
