Section 1: Enrolling for a Conference
Situation: a phone conversation about attending a conference (titled "Future Directions in Computing") — the three-day cost, how to pay (cheque), accommodation prices per night, how far the guest house is (a 10-minute walk), documents to be sent (a conference pack), the location on Park Road, a taxi cost and a bus number. Question types: note / form completion (Q1–10). পরিস্থিতি: একটি সম্মেলনে ("Future Directions in Computing") অংশগ্রহণ নিয়ে ফোনালাপ — তিন দিনের খরচ, পরিশোধ (cheque), রাত্রিপ্রতি থাকার দাম, guest house কত দূরে (১০ মিনিট হাঁটা), পাঠানো নথি (conference pack), Park Road-এ অবস্থান, ট্যাক্সি খরচ ও বাস নম্বর। নোট/ফর্ম পূরণ।

Section 2: Travel Expo — Staff Orientation
Situation: a monologue for temporary staff at a "Travel Expo" — first matching which colour team does each job (checking tickets, refreshments, car-park traffic), then a timetable of talks and details (a tax form, security and fire exits, the ground floor, a lecture room, a video, the Main Hall, and meeting team leaders). Question types: matching (Q11–13) and table/note completion (Q14–20). পরিস্থিতি: "Travel Expo"-র অস্থায়ী কর্মীদের জন্য একক বক্তৃতা — প্রথমে কোন রঙের দল কোন কাজ করবে (টিকিট চেক, refreshments, car-park) ম্যাচ, তারপর বক্তৃতার সময়সূচি ও বিবরণ (tax form, security ও fire exits, ground floor, lecture room, video, Main Hall, team leaders)। ম্যাচিং ও টেবিল/নোট পূরণ।

Section 3: A Library Induction
Situation: a discussion (student and librarian/tutor) about using a library — reference materials, textbooks, sections for secondary and primary levels, where to return items (the back), rules on overdue books, and a loan period of seven working days. You also choose three correct statements. Section 4: A Lecture on Wolves
Situation: a single-speaker lecture about wolves — their numbers, history and behaviour. You first answer multiple-choice questions (Q31–34), then complete notes with words and phrases (a figure of 1,450, disease, a wealthy prince, diet, whether they attack humans, and pack leadership).
