Section 1: Transport from the Airport to Milton
Situation: a phone enquiry about ways to travel from an airport to the town of Milton. The caller compares options — car hire, taxi, the Greyhound bus and an Airport Shuttle — noting prices, journey details, a flight number and a card number. Section 2: PS Camping (Holiday Company Information)
Situation: a monologue giving information about "PS Camping", a company that organises camping holidays — how long it has run, where its sites are, children's activities, site rules and special offers. Situation: a tutorial-style discussion about how people differ at work — the different things individuals bring (ideas, attitudes, experiences), why behaviour differs (personality, gender), and how diversity affects companies (it can develop creativity but also cause conflict).
