3. Present your passport, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation to the immigration officer.
4. The officer stamps a free 30-day tourist visa directly into your passport — no fee is collected and no separate visa application form is needed.

Fees & Visa Validity

The tourist visa is entirely free and valid for 30 days from arrival. Extensions beyond 30 days can be arranged through the Maldives Immigration office in Male for an additional fee, if needed.
