Eligibility & Required Documents

• Passport valid for at least the duration of stay.
• One passport-size photo (a photo booth is also available at the airport).
• A completed arrival visa form, available at the airport or fillable online in advance via Nepal's official immigration portal.
• Note: the free visa applies only to the first entry in a calendar year — subsequent visits within the same year require paying the standard visa fee.

Step-by-Step Airport Process

1. After landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, proceed to the "Visa" section before immigration counters.
2. Fill out the arrival visa form (or present the pre-filled online form/QR code if completed in advance).
3. Submit the form with your photo at the visa counter — as a Bangladeshi national on a first visit this year, no fee is collected.
4. Collect your visa sticker/stamp, then proceed to the immigration counter for entry stamping.

Fees & Visa Validity

The tourist visa is valid for up to 30 days and is completely free for Bangladeshi citizens on their first visit within a calendar year. Extensions beyond 30 days, or a second visit in the same year, are subject to Nepal's standard visa fee schedule, payable at the Department of Immigration in Kathmandu.

• Carry a spare passport photo in case the on-site photo booth has a queue.
