Paraphrasing Vocabulary (Summarize Written Text)
Summarize Written Text scores partly on using your own words rather than copying the passage verbatim. These synonym swaps are common across academic passages.

Don't over-paraphrase key terms. Technical or topic-specific nouns (e.g. "photosynthesis", "microplastics") should stay as they are — only paraphrase general vocabulary.
