Tourist Visa (Schengen Visa - Type C)

Visa Type: For short-term visits to Sweden (up to 90 days) for tourism, visiting family or friends, Bangladeshi citizens must apply for a Schengen (Type C) visa. Applications must be submitted through VFS Global in Dhaka, which are then processed by the Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka. পর্যটন বা পরিবার/বন্ধুদের সাথে দেখা করার জন্য সুইডেনে স্বল্পকালীন (৯০ দিন পর্যন্ত) ভ্রমণের জন্য, বাংলাদেশী নাগরিকদের একটি শেনজেন (টাইপ সি) ভিসার জন্য আবেদন করতে হবে। আবেদনপত্র ঢাকার ভিএফএস গ্লোবাল কেন্দ্রে জমা দিতে হবে, যা পরে ঢাকার সুইডেন দূতাবাস দ্বারা প্রক্রিয়া করা হয়।

Required Documents

How to Fill Up the Visa Form

The application form can be filled out and printed from the Swedish Migration Agency's website or the VFS Global website. It must be filled in English or Swedish and signed personally by the applicant. আবেদনপত্রটি সুইডিশ মাইগ্রেশন এজেন্সির ওয়েবসাইট বা ভিএফএস গ্লোবালের ওয়েবসাইট থেকে পূরণ এবং প্রিন্ট করা যায়। এটি অবশ্যই ইংরেজি বা সুইডিশ ভাষায় পূরণ করতে হবে এবং আবেদনকারী দ্বারা ব্যক্তিগতভাবে স্বাক্ষরিত হতে হবে।

Visa Fees

The Schengen visa fee is €90. Children from 6-12 years pay a reduced fee of €45. There is no fee for children under 6. VFS Global also charges a service fee. How to Submit the Visa

You must book an appointment online with VFS Global in Dhaka. On the scheduled date, submit your application form, passport, and all supporting documents in person. Student Visa (Residence Permit for Studies)

Visa Type: For studies in Sweden lasting longer than three months, Bangladeshi students must apply for a residence permit for studies. How to Fill Up the Visa Form

The application for a residence permit for studies should be submitted online through the Swedish Migration Agency's website. Work Visa (Work Permit)

Visa Type: To work in Sweden, Bangladeshi nationals must apply for a work permit. Required Documents

Valid Passport (বৈধ পাসপোর্ট).
A valid job offer from a Swedish employer (সুইডিশ নিয়োগকর্তার কাছ থেকে একটি বৈধ চাকরির অফার).
The employer must have advertised the job in Sweden/EU/EEA before offering it to you (নিয়োগকর্তাকে অবশ্যই আপনাকে অফার করার আগে সুইডেন/ইইউ/ইইএ-তে চাকরির বিজ্ঞাপন দিতে হবে).

The application process starts with your employer initiating the offer of employment online.
