How to Use This Companion (এই গাইড কীভাবে ব্যবহার করবেন)
A study companion for the Cambridge IELTS 11, Test 3, Speaking topics. Speaking has no fixed "answers", so this page gives the topic of each part, an original model approach, and useful phrases and vocabulary — all in our own words.

Don't memorise. These are ideas and language to practise with — not a script. Speak naturally about your own life.

Part 1: Photographs
Part 1 asks simple, familiar questions (4–5 minutes). The topic is photographs — the type of photos you like taking, what you do with the photos you take, whether you take photos or buy postcards when you visit places, and whether you like people taking photos of you. Part 1-এ পরিচিত সহজ প্রশ্ন। বিষয় ছবি তোলা — কোন ধরনের ছবি তুলতে পছন্দ, ছবি নিয়ে কী করেন, বেড়াতে গিয়ে ছবি তোলেন নাকি পোস্টকার্ড কেনেন, আপনার ছবি তুললে পছন্দ করেন কি না।
Model approach (মডেল পদ্ধতি)
Give a direct answer, then a reason and a small detail. Remember to add "why/why not". Keep answers short. উত্তর + কারণ + উদাহরণ; সংক্ষিপ্ত।
Useful openers: "I love taking photos of…", "I usually share them on…", "When I travel I tend to…"

Part 2: Describe a day when you thought the weather was perfect
You get a cue card, one minute to prepare, then speak for 1–2 minutes. The card asks: where you were on this day, what the weather was like, what you did during the day, and to explain why you thought the weather was perfect. কিউ কার্ড, ১ মিনিট প্রস্তুতি, ১–২ মিনিট। সেদিন কোথায় ছিলেন, আবহাওয়া কেমন ছিল, কী করেছিলেন, কেন আবহাওয়াকে নিখুঁত মনে হলো।

Choose a real day — a beach trip, a picnic, a festival. Use past tenses, weather adjectives (mild, clear, sunny, breezy) and link the weather to how it made the day enjoyable. সত্যিকার দিন বাছুন; অতীত কাল ও আবহাওয়া-বিশেষণ; আবহাওয়া কীভাবে দিনটি উপভোগ্য করল।
Part 3: Types of Weather; Weather Forecasts
Part 3 is a two-way discussion linked to Part 2 (4–5 minutes). The themes are types of weather (which types people in your country dislike most, which jobs are affected by weather, festivals that celebrate a season) and weather forecasts (how important it is to check the forecast, the best way to get accurate information, how easy weather is to predict). Part 3: আবহাওয়ার ধরন; আবহাওয়ার পূর্বাভাস।
How to develop answers (উত্তর কীভাবে বাড়াবেন)
Use P-E-E: Point, Explain, Example. For "which jobs are affected by weather?", give examples (farmers, fishermen, builders), explain how, then a detail. Use hedging for prediction questions. P-E-E: মত, ব্যাখ্যা, উদাহরণ; পূর্বাভাস প্রশ্নে hedging।
