Cambridge IELTS 13, Test 2, Speaking-এর টপিকের জন্য স্টাডি কম্প্যানিয়ন। প্রতিটি অংশের বিষয়, মডেল পদ্ধতি ও দরকারি ভাষা।
Don't memorise. These are ideas and language to practise with — not a script. Examiners easily spot memorised answers. Speak naturally about your own life.
মুখস্থ করবেন না। মুখস্থ উত্তর পরীক্ষক ধরে ফেলেন।
Two golden habits: Part 1 — Answer + Reason + Example; Part 3 — Point → Explain → Example.
দুটি অভ্যাস: Part 1-এ উত্তর+কারণ+উদাহরণ; Part 3-এ P-E-E।
Part 1: Age
Part 1 asks simple, familiar questions (4–5 minutes). The topic is age — whether you are happy to be the age you are now, whether you thought about your future as a child, whether you have changed as you have got older, and what will be different in your future. Part 1-এ পরিচিত সহজ প্রশ্ন। বিষয় বয়স — এখনকার বয়সে সন্তুষ্ট কি না, ছোটবেলায় ভবিষ্যৎ নিয়ে ভাবতেন কি না, বয়সের সাথে বদলেছেন কি না, ভবিষ্যতে কী আলাদা হবে।
Model approach (মডেল পদ্ধতি)
Give a direct answer, then a reason and a detail. For "have you changed as you have got older?", say yes/no, explain how (more responsible, calmer) and add an example. Use a mix of tenses — past, present and future. উত্তর + কারণ + উদাহরণ। বিভিন্ন কাল ব্যবহার করুন।
Useful openers: "I'm quite happy being…", "When I was younger, I used to…", "In a few years, I hope to…" — then add because/since.
শুরুর বাক্যের পর because/since দিয়ে কারণ।
Part 2: Describe a time when you started using a new technological device
You get a cue card, one minute to prepare, then speak for 1–2 minutes. The card asks: what device you started using, why you started using it, how easy or difficult it was to use, and to explain how helpful the device was to you (e.g. a new computer or phone). কিউ কার্ড, ১ মিনিট প্রস্তুতি, ১–২ মিনিট। কোন ডিভাইস, কেন শুরু, ব্যবহার কতটা সহজ/কঠিন, কতটা সহায়ক।
Planning in 1 minute (নোট কাঠামো)
Device
what it is কোন ডিভাইস
Why
the reason কেন
Easy/hard
learning it সহজ/কঠিন
How helpful
the benefit কতটা সহায়ক
Choose a real device — your first smartphone, a laptop, a smartwatch or a tablet. Describe when and why you got it, whether it was easy to learn, and how it changed your daily life (study, work, staying in touch). Use past tenses for getting it and present tenses for its use now. সত্যিকারের ডিভাইস বাছুন — স্মার্টফোন, ল্যাপটপ, ট্যাবলেট। কখন-কেন, সহজ কি না, কীভাবে সাহায্য করল।
Part 3: Technology and Education; Technology and Society
Part 3 is a two-way discussion linked to Part 2 (4–5 minutes). The themes are technology and education (the best age for computer lessons, whether schools should use more technology, whether computers will replace teachers) and technology and society (how technology has changed communication, future innovations, why some people reduce their technology use). Part 3: প্রযুক্তি ও শিক্ষা; প্রযুক্তি ও সমাজ।
How to develop answers (উত্তর কীভাবে বাড়াবেন)
Use P-E-E: Point, Explain, Example. For "will computers replace teachers?", give your point (unlikely fully), explain why (teachers give motivation and emotional support), then an example. Show both sides and use "it depends" where useful. P-E-E: মত, ব্যাখ্যা, উদাহরণ। দুই দিক দেখান।
