How to Use This Companion (এই গাইড কীভাবে ব্যবহার করবেন)
A study companion for the Cambridge IELTS 3, Test 3, Speaking topics. Speaking has no fixed "answers", so this page gives the topic of each part, an original model approach, and useful phrases and vocabulary — all in our own words.

Part 1: Visitors
Part 1 asks simple, familiar questions (4–5 minutes). The topic is visitors — what you would suggest a visitor should see and do in your country, any traditional arts or music you would recommend, the kind of foreign visitors who go there, and how tourism has changed your country. Part 1-এ পরিচিত সহজ প্রশ্ন। বিষয় অতিথি/পর্যটক — অতিথিকে কী দেখতে/করতে বলবেন, কোন ঐতিহ্যবাহী শিল্প/সংগীত, কেমন বিদেশি পর্যটক আসে, পর্যটন দেশকে কীভাবে বদলেছে।
Model approach (মডেল পদ্ধতি)
Give a direct answer, then a reason and a small detail. Keep answers to two or three sentences and add an example. উত্তর + কারণ + উদাহরণ; ২–৩ বাক্য।
Useful openers: "I'd definitely recommend visiting…", "One thing tourists love is…", "Tourism has changed a lot because…"

Part 2: Describe a Memorable Event in Your Life
You get a cue card, one minute to prepare, then speak for 1–2 minutes. The card asks you to say when the event took place, where it took place, what happened exactly, and to explain why this event was memorable for you. কিউ কার্ড, ১ মিনিট প্রস্তুতি, ১–২ মিনিট। বলুন ঘটনাটি কখন, কোথায় ঘটেছিল, ঠিক কী ঘটেছিল, এবং কেন এটি আপনার কাছে স্মরণীয়।

Choose a real event — a wedding, a graduation, a festival or an achievement — and describe when and where it happened, what took place, and why it stays in your memory. Use past tenses for the story and add feelings and detail. সত্যিকার একটি ঘটনা বাছুন—বিয়ে, স্নাতক, উৎসব বা অর্জন; কখন, কোথায়, কী ঘটল ও কেন স্মরণীয় বলুন।
Part 3: Ceremony, Marriage & National Events
Part 3 is a two-way discussion linked to Part 2 (4–5 minutes). The themes are the role of ceremony in our lives (how important ceremonies are and how private and public ceremonies may change), attitudes to marriage in your country (whether they have changed and how men and women may feel differently), and events of national or global significance (what makes headlines and whether the media focuses more on national or global events). Part 3: অনুষ্ঠানের ভূমিকা, বিয়ের প্রতি দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি ও জাতীয়/বৈশ্বিক ঘটনা।
How to develop answers (উত্তর কীভাবে বাড়াবেন)
Use P-E-E: Point, Explain, Example. For "how important are ceremonies?", give a point, explain why, then an example. Show both sides and hedge (it depends…, generally) for opinion questions. P-E-E: মত, ব্যাখ্যা, উদাহরণ; দুই দিক ও hedging।
