How to Use This Companion (এই গাইড কীভাবে ব্যবহার করবেন)
A study companion for the Cambridge IELTS 4, Test 4, Speaking topics. Speaking has no fixed "answers", so this page gives the topic of each part, an original model approach, and useful phrases and vocabulary — all in our own words.

Don't memorise. These are ideas and language to practise with — not a script. Speak naturally about your own life.

Part 1: Your Favourite Place
Part 1 asks simple, familiar questions (4–5 minutes). The topic is your favourite place — which place you most like to visit, how often you go there, why you like it so much, whether it is popular with other people, and whether it has changed since you first went. Part 1-এ পরিচিত সহজ প্রশ্ন। বিষয় আপনার প্রিয় স্থান — কোথায় যেতে বেশি ভালো লাগে, কত ঘন যান, কেন এত ভালো লাগে, অন্যদের কাছে জনপ্রিয় কি, প্রথমবারের পর বদলেছে কি।
Model approach (মডেল পদ্ধতি)
Give a direct answer, then a reason and a small detail. Keep answers to two or three sentences and add a comparison with the past where useful. উত্তর + কারণ + উদাহরণ; ২–৩ বাক্য; অতীতের সঙ্গে তুলনা।
Useful openers: "My favourite place is…", "I go there whenever…", "It's changed quite a bit since…"

Part 2: Describe a Useful Website You Have Visited
You get a cue card, one minute to prepare, then speak for 1–2 minutes. The card asks you to say what the website was, how you found the address for it, what the website contained, and to explain why it was useful to you. কিউ কার্ড, ১ মিনিট প্রস্তুতি, ১–২ মিনিট। বলুন এটি কোন ওয়েবসাইট, ঠিকানা কীভাবে পেলেন, কী ছিল, এবং কেন আপনার কাজে লাগল।

Choose a real website you use — for study, news, learning English or booking things — and describe what it is, how you found it, what it offers, and why it helps you. Use past tenses for how you found it and present for what it does. পরিচিত একটি ওয়েবসাইট বাছুন—পড়াশোনা, খবর, ইংরেজি শেখা বা বুকিং; পরিচয়, কীভাবে পেলেন, কী আছে ও কেন উপকারী তা বলুন।
Part 3: The Internet — Communication & Shopping
Part 3 is a two-way discussion linked to Part 2 (4–5 minutes). The themes are the Internet and communication (how it has changed the way people communicate, why it is used more and more, and how reliable online information and news are) and the Internet and shopping (why some people shop online while others do not, what is easy to buy and sell online, and whether online shopping will grow). Part 3: ইন্টারনেট ও যোগাযোগ এবং ইন্টারনেট ও কেনাকাটা।
How to develop answers (উত্তর কীভাবে বাড়াবেন)
Use P-E-E: Point, Explain, Example. For "how reliable is information on the Internet?", give a point, explain why, then an example. Show both sides and hedge (it depends…, generally) for opinion questions. P-E-E: মত, ব্যাখ্যা, উদাহরণ; দুই দিক ও hedging।
