Learning Strategies (শেখার কৌশল)
1. Learn Collocations, Not Single Words (একক শব্দ নয়, collocation শিখুন)
PTE scoring rewards natural word combinations. Instead of memorising "increase" alone, learn "a sharp increase in", "increase steadily", "increase significantly" — the exact combinations a Describe Image or essay answer needs.
2. Learn Words by PTE Function, Not Just Topic (বিষয় নয়, কাজ অনুযায়ী শিখুন)
Group vocabulary by what it does in the test: trend words for Describe Image, hedging words for essays, connector words for Reorder Paragraphs — see the section-specific guides below.
3. Practise Active Recall with Your Practice Tests (প্র্যাকটিস টেস্টে সক্রিয়ভাবে ব্যবহার করুন)
After each practice test, list every unfamiliar word you saw and quiz yourself on it a week later — recognising a word once is not the same as being able to use it under exam pressure.
